Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano pour homme edt is a new flanker fragrance to Dolce Gabbana’s original Light Blue for men. Named after Vulcano, an Aeoleon Island which is known for its’ mud baths and an active, smoking crater, Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano pour homme eau de toilette offers a classic, masculine fragrance experience ideal for moderate weather.

This heavy, woody eau de toilette for men offers a long-lasting fragrance experience which is perfect for casual and weekend activities; as well as relaxed, evening occasions. Although the top notes offer a slight citrus scent, Dolce Gabbana’s Light Blue Discover Vulcano edt offers a woody fragrance experience which originates from its’ base.

Top notes: Lemon, Ginger

Middle notes: Cypress, Lavender

Base notes: Vetyver, Cedarwood

We tested out Dolce Gabbana Light Blue Discover Vulcano pour homme edt on an eighty degree, summer day. The fragrance instantly gave off a woody scent laced with vetyver and light lemon. The woody scent lasted throughout the day while gently fading away into the evening hours. It is ideal for moderate weather during the spring, summer and fall months.

Santana Row’s annual Poolside Soiree took place June 7, 2014 and gave Fashionistas in the Bay Area and beyond a snapshot into what is hot for summer 2014. There was a large amount of flowing fabrics, hi-lo hemlines, boot-cut jeans/pants, softer hues than in season’s past, boho prints, boho silhouettes, pops of orange, pops of fuchsia, and form-fitting suiting for men. The overall vibe of the show was playful and fun; essentially what summer in the Bay Area is all about!

Prada Luna Rossa Extreme is the new fragrance for men from Prada. Debuting in December 2013, this popular men’s fragrance has quickly become one of the most coveted scents for men. For Father’s Day 2014, Prada has introduced a limited edition gift set which contains a 3.4 oz eau de toilette and 3.4 oz. after shave balm. This is the perfect set for Father’s Day; or any gifting opportunity for that matter!

We tested out both the eau de toilette and after shave balm from Prada Luna Rossa and loved the scent! The overall fragrance was warm with a peppery top which settled in after about twenty minutes. The heart of the fragrance is amber which is slightly sweetened by a light vanilla base. The fragrance experience is warm and offers  medium strength; making it appropriate for everyday wear. Love that!

Top notes: Italian Bergamot, black pepper, fresh lavender

Middle notes: Leathery balsamic labdanum, juniper berry, amber

Base notes: Intense lavender absolute, vanilla
