Fall office look and fabulous boots

wearing: gold hoops / plaid blouse / black handbag / fall nail polish / black trousers (petite and reg) (I’m wearing petite) / black boots c/o Ally (coupon code CATHY10) /

Fall is almost here, so it’s time to start looking the part in the office. Classic black trousers are always right, and to add a little somthin’ somthin’ to the overall look, I picked up this asymmetrical plaid blouse. It’s office appropriate yet still showing style. Love that!

Of course, the most important part of an outfit is the base. These fabulous boots by Ally have arch support! This means I can walk and stand for hours without pain in my foot. As someone who suffers from planter fasciitis, this is key. These boots are comfortable and supportive. Love them!

It’s after Labor Day, which means we can claim it’s fall! Despite the fact that fall officially starts on September 22, but I digress. . .

It’s time to load up on soft fabrics, autumn hues, and pink nail polish as we head into the fall season. Suede, cashmere, satin, and more are hot for fall. So, shop your closet first, then fill in with some fall shopping!

You might remember me raving about these suede high heels. They have arch support and I can walk for miles and stand for hours in them. Well, I loved them so much I got the boots! These boots offer arch support and are equally comfortable. They are so easy to walk in, plus, they are perfect for fall! These boots are fabulous with both casual outfits and office attire. I love them with my trousers. They are perfect!

Also, have you noticed people are wearing scarves again? Pull out your scarves from last seasons and start rocking them! You can wear them any way you want. As a neckerchief, a belt, loose around the neck, anything goes! Love that!

Spring 2027 color trends from Pantone at NYFW

spring 2027 color trends

pictured: color swatches c/o Pantone /

Spring 2027 is heading down the runway and Pantone has released the hottest colors we will see in the new year. As you can see, the color trends for spring 2027 are shifting. The hues are vivid, cheerful, and traditionally spring/summer. Love that!

There is starting to be a shift away from an all-neutral look to color mixing. The shift is giving us color blocking, tonal looks, and mixing colors in an unexpected way for spring. Instead of bold prints, the transition from mixed neutrals is mixed colors. You no longer need to pair blue with grey or black, you can pair it with lavender, pink, or any color you’re in the mood for. This upcoming spring 2027 season will give us colorful options and combos, so get ready!

The top five neutral hues are pushing the boundaries of neutral. Blue Indigo offer a blue-grey look instead of a traditional navy for spring. Antique white offers variety since it can be paired with any combination of hues. Of course, Dolphin can be any grey you already have in your wardrobe from past seasons, so you’ll be able to shop your closet for that hue! Look for these five colors when investing in neutrals for spring, they will give you an easy backdrop for styling your looks.

Pantone recognized three standout colors for the spring/summer 2027 season. Princess Blue, Lavender Oil, and Rosy Future. Look for these colors to explode in popularity in the new year.

Which colors are your favorites? I love Rosy Future, Waterfall, and Antique White. I will be watching store shelves for these colors so I can add them to my wardrobe! They would make beautiful nail polish colors too!

Thanks for stopping by, and you can read more about the spring 2027 colors trends at Pantone.com.
