dior ruban nail polish review classic pink nail polish

How in the world have I not review Dior Ruban yet?!?! Will wonders never cease! Ah, anyway, here we go!

Pink nail polish is hotter than hot right now, despite the fact that it is also a timeless nail polish color. Pink nail polish is fabulous because it’s understated, classic, office-appropriate, and matches any outfit or occasion. Love that!

I feel like everyone should have one, fabulous pink nail polish in their wardrobe. Ruban might be it! This is a color which has become a part of Dior’s core nail polish collection. It seems to always be in stock and get restocked. As we all know, seasonal nail polish colors have been selling out within a day to a couple of weeks lately. So, it is refreshing when a beautiful color can actually be found in stock. Imagine that!

Dior Ruban nail polish is a classic pink nail color with slight sparkles. I love how the sparkles add dimension yet keep the polish looking timeless. I tested out Dior Ruban nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. It went on smooth without streaking and the finish is a solid, slightly sparkling pink. Love!

Tree to Tub Cocoa Shea body butter review

pictured: Tree to Tub Cocoa Shea body butter / nail polish /

I am always trying new body creams, so when I saw this body butter from Tree to Tub with a “citrus splash” scent I needed to try it! I also love creams which contain shea butter, so it was a must-try!

Beauty products which have thoughtful ingredients are important to me as I try to avoid toxic products. Tree to Tub is free from banned ingredients in the EU and uses botanicals and safe extracts to create a moisturizing body butter which actually works. Love that!

As a body butter, it works great! My skin stays soft and moisturized for the whole day after application. When it comes to the scent, the citrus scent is extremely light, so it’s hard to find. What I can smell is the shea butter. There isn’t anything wrong with that, but if you are looking for an actual citrus fragrance, this doesn’t have it. It smells like shea butter, which is a scent I like.

I really enjoy this body butter, so I would definitely buy it again. Since it is light, it does not complete with other perfumes and creams. I can wear it without worrying about competing fragrances once I spray my perfume. Love that!

Bon Parfumeur 402 Guilty Vanilla review

pictured: 402 Guilty Vanilla / nail polish /

I love a good vanilla perfume, and 402 Guilty Vanilla by Bon Parfumeur is the perfect version. Don’t be mistaken, this is not a simple vanilla fragrance, it is complex and grown up; perfect for anyone who not only loves vanilla but enjoys and appreciates artistic fragrance. Love!

Let’s dive into the notes in this perfume.

Top notes: almond blossom, icing sugar, almond

Middle notes: vanilla, caramel, jasmine

Base notes: musk, benzion, sandalwood

This combination creates a beautiful, long lasting dry-down which offers a vanilla gourmand fragrance experience without being sweet and sticky. It is smooth, clean, fresh, and ideal. Love it!

Although I purchased the 30ml size, I can already tell I will need to order the larger size next time. I am going through this bottle rather quickly; it’s so good!

So, if you are looking for the perfect, complex vanilla, this is it!
