Christian Louboutin nail polish has the most amazing pigmentation. So it is no surprise that Batignolles nail polish by Christian Louboutin offers a bright, highly pigmented aquatic dream! This cream nail polish is ideal for the resort season; and as we move into spring 2015.

Although considered part of Christian Louboutin’s seasonless nail color collection, the “Pops,” Batignolles offers color which is ideal for the spring 2015 color palette. Shades of blue are hot for spring 2015, and Batignolles by Christian Louboutin offers a bluish-green hue which is bright and commanding; and blends well with all shades of blue! Love!

I tested out Christian Louboutin Batignolles nail polish with one base coat and two coats of colors. The nail polish was long lasting and eye catching. Batignolles is a cream nail polish. The first coat went on streaky, but the second coat evened out the color and offered a smooth, streak-free finish. I still find the application wand a little awkward, but the end result is worth the balancing act with the thin application brush.

Christian Louboutin Batignolles is a great color for transitioning from resort into spring 2015. It will play well with the spring color palette and will also move easily into summer 2015. This makes it an ideal nail polish investment if you would like an easy yet bright nail polish color for the warm weather season.

Goodbye 2014 and to all the horrible trends we will leave behind!

It is the last day of 2014! As the calendar flips over to 2015, we can jump and cheer for a new year of fashion trends; and say good-bye to the horrible trends of 2014. Buh-bye last years look!

Let’s look back on the bad fashion and street style trends from 2014, so we can move forward and enjoy the fabulous trends 2015 will bring us!

Goodbye 2014!

Radiant Orchid: This beautiful lavender hue was the color of 2014, but alas, it never really caught on. You may catch glimpses of it in patterns as we move into 2015, but don’t plan on a head-to-toe look of this hard-to-wear color. Au revoir!

Top Knot Buns: What were those weird, round buns sitting on the top of girl’s heads?! Those horrible buns were usually achieved by wrapping hair around a foam donut, wha?????? Look, if you need to insert a gross piece of foam in your hair to create a hairstyle, there is something wrong. Stay away from the foam donut top knot bun! Buh-bye!

Studs: The heavy metal, studded and spike look is done. Leave them in the back of your closet for the next Metallica concert you attend. Otherwise, they have no place in your wardrobe in 2015. Ouch!

Dark Nails: Dark nail were all the rage in 2014, but for 2015, medium colors are hot to trot. Steer clear of black nails and look for colors and metallics to paint on those nails.

Undefined Waists: The day of not wearing a belt through those belt-loops is gone. If you have belt loops, wear a belt! Also, belt everything you can; dresses, coats etc. Belt it!

Hello 2015!

Marsala: This beautiful, deep red hue is the color of 2015. Look for it in prints and alone. Love it!

Shades of Blue: Multiple shades of blue are all the rage for 2015. Look for an oceanic color palette on warm spring days. So calm and cool, love that!

Fringe: This boho-chic trend started to gain momentum in 2014, but for 2015, it is all the rage! Let out your inner hippie or flapper, it’s time to fringe!

Comfort Shoes: Flat sandals, comfort sandals and flatforms are all the rage for 2015. Look for them worn with socks for a little sass and a fashion forward look. If this isn’t your thing, don’t fret, your pointed toe pumps are still hotter than hot 😉

Drawstring Handbags: The hot “IT” bag for 2014 is not relinquishing it’s #1 spot for the 2015 year. Look for drawstring handbags in all price points, from all brands/designers. It’s the “IT” factor.

Happy New Year and have a fabulous, fashionable 2015!

Chanel Paradisio nail polish for spring 2015

Pictured: Chanel Paradisio nail polish for spring 2015. One base coat, two coats of color, no top coat.

Chanel Paradisio is a nail polish color from Chanel’s spring 2015 beauty collection. This fabulous nail hue is one of three colors Chanel has introduced for the upcoming warm weather season. Paradisio is the lightest, and most understated of the three hues which include a muted purple and bright pink.

Paradisio by Chanel is a fresh, amazing nail polish color which offers a greenish-blue silver hue that changes slightly in different lights. Chanel Paradisio nail polish is also incredibly easy to wear. This color plays well with any color palette and is ideal for transitioning from winter to resort and into spring. The color works well with winter’s cool pastels and neutral palette. It also works well with the upcoming Marsala and shades of blue color trends. Love that!

I tested out Chanel Paradisio nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. The nail polish lasted for five days before I got one chip. The chip was small and Chanel Paradisio nail polish gave me an additional two days before it needed to b changed. Love it!

Out of the three nail colors Chanel is showing for spring 2015, Paradisio is expected to sell out the fastest. If you love it, make sure you get your own bottle stat! It will really be an ideal nail color for spring and I can see it working well into summer too.
