Dolce Gabbana Dora is a bright red, classic cream lipstick. In the tube, Dolce Gabbana Dora appears to be an orange-red hue. When I applied it, the color seemed slightly more pinkish than orangish; as it had looked out of the box.

I am not sure if it became a pink-red due to my natural lip color, or if that is how Dolce Gabbana Dora is meant to perform. Nevertheless, orange-red lipsticks scare me, so to see it take on a pink-red format after application was a breath of relief! I just don’t do orange.

Dolce Gabbana’s collection of classic cream lipsticks are a must-have in anyone’s make-up wardrobe. They are mousturzing, long-lasting, offer a smooth application, and provide fabulous color saturation. Normally they look the same in the tube, and on the lips; Dora is an anomaly for me. An anomaly in a good way! I love pink-red’s!

Now that the holiday season is in full swing, Dolce Gabbana Dora is a fabulous classic cream lipstick to have on hand. It is a festive, bright hue, which adds a little bit of “party” to any ensemble; casual or dressy. This is also a great alternative to classic, fire engine red lipstick hues.

Dora by Dolce Gabbana is a great red lipstick to keep on hand throughout the year; it is not just a holiday color. It will work well with any color palette; and is the perfect way to brighten your face when wearing classic black. Classic red lipstick + classic black = perfection 😉

If you have not tried Dolce Gabbana classic cream lipstick, Dora is a great color to get as your first tube. This is an easy red to wear, and it isn’t too bright; like most classic red lipsticks. Love that!
