Dolce Gabbana Bonbon nail polish is a beautiful pink nail lacquer from the designing duo’s spring 2016 makeup collection, Rosa Look 2016. This fabulous beauty collection for spring offers various shades of pink, and rose, lipsticks, eye shadows, and nail colors; with complementing hues in black and white. Bonbon is my favorite nail hue from the collection.

Bonbon by Dolce Gabbana for spring 2016 is a fabulous, vivid pink, cream nail polish which plays well with both pastels, and brights. Although it is in the soft pink family, Dolce Gabbana Bonbon nail polish for spring 2016 offers vivid color saturation; and enough brightness to never be overshadowed by a sunny spring day! Love that!

I tested Dolce Gabbana Bonbon nail polish with one base coat, two coats of color, and one top coat. The polish lasted a full week before my nails grew, and it needed to come off. I love this color so much, and the fact that it is long lasting; so I have decided to wear it during New York Fashion Week! You will definitely see this on my nails over the course of the week.

Dolce Gabbana Bonbon nail polish from the Rosa Look 2016 collection is also a fabulous color to keep on hand as a nail polish wardrobe staple. The brightness of the pink gives it enough sass to not fall into the soft pink “too springy” category. This color can easily be worn all year round; in any season. It is a great pink to own if you tend to shy away from pastels, but want to get in on the current pink nail polish trend. It’s a grown up pink 😉

The wait is over! Derek Lam’s new perfume collection, the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrance Collection is here! Not only was it worth the wait, it is heaven scent 😉

The gift set pictured above features ten beautiful fragrances from Derek Lam in travel size, or purse size, spray bottles. Aside from being TSA friendly, the gift set offers you the chance to either give the gift of scent, or treat yourself to all ten of Derek Lam’s new scent’s! I prefer the latter.

Derek Lam’s ten new fragrances were created by famed perfumers Clement Gavarry, Pascal Gaurin, Yves Cassar, and Laurent LeGuernec. They were inspired by the stories, and women, Derek Lam has observed outside his window on 10 Crosby Street. How fabulous, and storied, is that!

There is a scent for everyone in the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrance Collection. In fact, you may find yourself drawn to more than one; or perhaps all ten! I know I am 🙂 Here are the beautiful, key fragrance notes for each scent:

Although all ten of the scents in the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrance Collection are fabulous, my favorites are “2am Kiss,” “Something Wild,” and “Rain Day.” These are the three I find myself reaching for first. I plan to take one with me to New York Fashion Week, but I don’t know which one to choose! I love them all!

The fragrances in the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrance Collection are high quality eau de parfums. The fragrance lasts all day, so there is no need to respray during the day. Love that!

I am looking forward to choosing one of the EDP’s from the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrance Collection for my travel beauty bag when I go to New York later this week; and for future trips! I am also looking forward to enjoying these fragrances on a daily basis. Perhaps my Mom will find a gift set on her brunch chair for this upcoming Mother’s Day 😉 Shhh, don’t tell her! It’s a surprise!

Chanel Le Top Velvet is a new matte top coat from Chanel. I have always wanted to try out a matte top coat, but I was afraid of what it might look like. I love shiny nails, so the thought of doing my nails, and then slipping a matte top over my work, and not liking it, freaked me out a bit!

I decided if this was something I was going to try, I was going to try a matte top coat by Chanel. So I bought Chanel Le Top Coat Velvet, and gave the matte look a try!

Chanel Sunrise Trip is a dark purple nail polish, and I thought making a darker polish matte would look pretty. I am so glad I tried this on a dark nail polish! Chanel Le Top Coat Velvet did a great job making my shiny, Sunrise Trip nail polish matte, and velvety. Love it!

Chanel Le Top Coat Velvet went on smoothly, and a few seconds after application, I could watch my nails transform from super shiny, to luxurious matte. I fell in love!

I was afraid the matte top coat would be rough to the touch, but Chanel Le Top Coat Velvet is soft, and smooth; just like velvet! I love the effect, and next time, I plan to try it out over a light nail polish to see how it looks.

I tested out Chanel Le Top Coat Velvet with one base coat, and two coats of Chanel Sunrise Trip. I love how it looks, and I feel like I will wear the matte top coat over Sunrise Trip this spring instead of keeping it shiny. It looks like purple velvet on my fingertips. It’s fun and I love it!

Chanel Le Top Coat Velvet added strength to my nail polish. It lasted a full week without chipping. The only reason I changed my nail polish was because my nails started to grow; and I like to keep changing my nail polish 😉

The matte nail look is definitely a fun way to change up how my nail polish looks this spring season. I am looking forward to testing it out with different nail polish colors this spring; as well as into the summer season.
