One of the big trends on the street right now is the graphic tee trend. I have been looking for the perfect tee-shirt to rock this trend with and thankfully I have been introduced to Tees For Change! The tee-shirts are soft and comfortable due to the fact that they are made from environmentally friendly materials such as bamboo! A portion of the proceeds from the sales at Tees For Change go right back into the community. Love it!

A simple New York Fashion Week look

Outfit details: Top: Banana Republic / Necklace: c/o Twisted Silver / Lipstick: c/o Laura Mercier “Myth” / Skirt: Diane Von Furstenberg / Nail Polish: Chanel Alchimie / Handbag: Chloe / Shoes: Prada

New York Fashion Week takes a lot of energy. The first show usually starts at 9am with the last show beginning at 9pm. When I am on the go, I prefer to keep my look simple and fuss-free. This clean look felt perfect on September 7, 2013. The pieces were soft and comfortable.

I loved how Twisted Silver’s new “Grace” necklace brought out the colors in the skirt and made the otherwise simple outfit look finished. The new “Grace” necklace is timeless and offers layers of brass and copper which are  statement-making. Love it! The necklace is priced at $60 and can be found online atTwisted-Silver.com. If you use coupon code INSIDERS you will save 15% off your purchase!

Of course the high heels did not stay on all day. I brought a pair of flats which I slipped on after lunch. Fashion week can be hard on your feet! What are your favorite shoes for days when you need to walk or stand a lot?
