Kendra Scott is giving back to California! This is why Kendra Scott is one of my favorite designer brands on the planet. She is always finding ways to give back to the community.

Our beautiful state of California has been ravaged by wildfires, which started due to a freak storm filled with dry lightening. This is extremely rare and unusual weather for us. Since this is abnormal weather, our fire departments were stretched dangerously thin due to a lack of resources. Our fabulous firefighters worked very hard to contain and put out these fires, but unfortunately, there were still property losses; not to mention a state blanketed in thick, smoky air.

In order to thank and support our amazing fire departments, Kendra Scott is hosting a give-back shopping event to support the California Fire Foundation. The California Fire Foundation works hard to support fire victims, firefighters, and communities ravaged by fire.

August 28-29, 2020, you will be able to shop online at KendraScott.com, and you can also shop in-store at Santana Row in San Jose, or Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. 20% of your purchase will directly benefit the California Fire Foundation! Love this!!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 is here! Today marks the first day Nordstrom cardholders can start shopping. Day one of the sale is open to Nordstrom’s biggest annual spenders, then it opens up based on spending level on August 7, 10, and 13. If you have a Nordstrom card, and you don’t know your level, log into your account to check; you might be lucky and have an early shopping date! If you are like me, and you don’t have a Nordstrom Card, we get to start shopping on August 19.

Last year a lot of my favorite items from the sale sold out within the first week. The biggest shopping days during the sale will be August 13 and 19, so if there is something you want bad-buy it the first day you are eligible to shop the sale! I will be at my laptop 9:30am on August 18 ready to shop my wish list above. These are all the items I plan to purchase. Aren’t they fabulous?

The fall 2020 season has a ton of 1970s and 1990s vibes. When you start shopping for fall, look for these elements in what you purchase. I also recommend looking for necessities when shopping this sale. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on basics, pajamas, lougewear, socks, and beauty products. You probably don’t need heavy coats and winter-like boots just yet.
