The winter 2015 nail polish collection from Nars is absolutely amazing. All three colors, Alogonquin, Sherwood and Barents Sea, offer beautiful pigmentation in purple and blue hues. Love that!

Nars Barents Sea is a fabulous cobalt blue nail polish which includes a vibrant, shiny sheen. Barents Sea by Nars offers depth; making other luxury cobalt nail polishes look dull in comparison. This is the ultimate blue nail polish for blue nail polish fans. I am in love!

I tested out Nars Barents Sea nail polish with two coats of color and one base coat. It lasted a full seven days before chipping. Love that! 

Nars Barents Sea nail polish is from the “Laced with Edge” nail polish collection by Nars for the winter season. It is limited edition and selling out fast! This is definitely the perfect cobalt nail polish hue to own as we move into 2015. Although Marsala is the color of the year, shades of blue are very important colors for the spring/summer 2015 season. This means Barents Sea by Nars is a great nail polish to be wearing as we move from winter into resort and into spring. It will transition easily and work well with the upcoming, warm weather color palette. Love it!

Nars has a fabulous collection of nail polishes for the winter 2015 season. The colors are cool and ideal for the winter 2015 color palette. I love this winter 2015 nail polish from Nars; Sherwood. Sherwood by Nars is a beautiful, medium purple nail polish hue which is easy to wear with pastels, bright colors and neutrals. Love that!

I tested out Nars Sherwood nail polish with one base coat and two coats of color. The nail polish held up well and lasted six days with only one small chip on my index finger. I love the subtle sparkles in the nail polish which add dimension to the color. 

Nars also has a fabulous nail polish application brush which is flat and the perfect size for gliding easily on my nails. Nars nail polish applies smoothly and does not make a mess; huge plus! The brush is easy to balance too. Another huge plus!

For the holiday 2014 season, Dolce Gabbana has launched a beautiful collection of make up aptly named the “Make Up Collector’s Edition.” This fabulous collection offers exclusive casing which is ideal for gift-giving; or for the collector like me! The beauty products in Dolce Gabbana’s holiday collection are classic pieces which are iconic in their own right.

The collection includes collector’s editions of Dolce Gabbana’s Bronzer, Illuminator, lipstick in “Real Red,” Perfect Mono Eye shadow in “Pure Bronze” and “Pure Gold,” nail polish in “Lover” and a fabulous special edition of “The One.” This entire collection is limited and will only be available for a short time. I am so thrilled to have a piece of it!

The ancient coin imprinted on the Illuminator and on the Bronzer represents a journey of discovery Dolce Gabbana have gone through in Ancient Sicily and the Greek culture; where the designing duo takes much of their inspiration. The profile of Greek God Athena is imprinted on the coin. She represents wisdom, courage, civilization and intelligence. She also personifies the voyage to Sicily’s roots and captures the precious characteristics which have helped define the entire “Make Up Collector’s Edition” for the holiday 2014 season.
