As we move well into June, lighter fabrics and footwear are moving to the forefront of style. Look for summer weight clothing, sandals or espadrilles, summer nail polish, and the anonymous handbag. Love!

When it comes to color combos, we are continuing to see mixed neutrals, shades of mocha, black and white combos, and also pops of yellow, green, and cheerful hues.

This is the time to continue investing in timeless styles and non-logo handbags. Love that!

Stay tuned for summer coverage!

Mocha dress for summer

wearing: statement earrings / chain necklace / mocha dress / summer nail polish / bucket tote / Mary Janes /

Mocha Mousse is the color of 2025, so it’s only natural that I am drawn to this neutral hue. It is so easy to wear and can be styled throughout the year. Mocha really transcends season. Love that!

Speaking of transcending season, and wearing this mocha dress throughout the year, shoes and outerwear help it fit into the season. In the winter, this dress can be paired with knee boots and a coat. During the fall and spring months, this mocha dress can be worn with a light jacket or sweater, as well as a scarf. For the summer, it stands alone. The knit fabric is comfortable, and I am finding I can wear it any weather; at least here in California.

This mocha dress can also be worn casually, or to the office. I love a wardrobe piece I can wear any day of the week, work or fun! Love that!

I also happen to have this dress in black too. It is classic and versatile. Love!

How are you rocking mocha this summer season?

Quick trip to Harrisburg

photos: Harrisburg Airport at sunset / outfit: statement earrings / tee / summer nail polish / wide leg jeans / east/west bag / boots (old, also love this pair) /

For Memorial Day weekend, we took a quick trip to Harrisburg. As the capitol of Pennsylvania, it has arts and of course, government buildings. It was fun to explore this time, since our last trip was a day trip and we were not able to see very much.

I loved seeing all the historical buildings, and if you ever head over to Harrisburg, make sure you get a tour of the capitol! It was dedicated in 1906 by Roosevelt. The architecture, and interior decor, are absolutely stunning.

Since it was a holiday, we missed out on the museum, but I know I will be back again later this summer, so hopefully I can see it then. If you are in the Harrisburg area, I highly recommend enjoying a meal at the Sturges Speakeasy. They have an amazing menu, the service is friendly and helpful, and the patrons are also friendly and chill. We really loved it! I enjoyed the salmon, and my daughter enjoyed the Noble Experiment which was a sandwich with blackened chicken, pickled red cabbage, and brie (which she loved), all on focaccia. Loved it!

Well, it was a quick trip so that’s it! Thanks for stopping by!
