I recently went out for happy hour with my friend Laura of Have Need Want. This was the perfect opportunity to wear a girl’s night out outfit, since I don’t have a chance to go out with my friends very often.

We went to Steamer’s in Los Gatos for some yummy appetizers, and fabulous conversation. It is always fun to meet up with Laura and talk. It was mid week, so we both chose to wear cute girl’s night out outfits which were on the casual glam side.

I was excited to have the chance to wear this ruana, which I purchased back in August for the fall season. It was nice to have cool weather, and to be able to wrap myself up in it! Ruana’s are a step above a blanket scarf; so they are are a casual glam way of keeping cozy. Love that!

If you have seen my last few blog posts, you may have noticed that I have recently worn a pair of skinny jeans, and side-zip flare jeans, from Gap’s Resolution denim collection. The pair of black flare jeans I am wearing in the photos above are also from that collection. I have fallen in love with Gap’s resolution denim collection, and find myself wearing these three pairs of jeans often.

Gap’s Resolution denim line has a bit of stretch in them; giving them a comfortable feel, and ideal fit! They make the perfect jeans for girl’s night out out outfit combinations. I love learning about new designers in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are such a culturally diverse, and politically complicated, section of the Earth; which I believe sparks incredible creativity when it comes to art, fashion, tech, and more! So when I learned about Dualitas jewelry, I was intrigued.

Dualitas is an amazing, emerging designer jewelry collection designed right here in the Bay Area, in Palo Alto. The jewelry has been designed for more than just fashion and art; it has been designed with each stone’s metaphysical properties, and their positive effects on the wearer, in mind. The result is amazing!

All of the pieces Dualitas has designed, are not only unique in design, many of them are designed so that the stones actually touche the wearer’s skin; thus allowing the positive metaphysical properties of the stone to transfer to the skin. Love that!

I was taken aback when I saw the beauty of each piece at Dualitas. The geometric designs are modern, and the choice of metals are fashion-forward. The stones are precious or semi-precious; and their natural beauty shines through on each piece.

Many of the pieces offer cutting edge, modern styling, while some of the diamond pieces offer vintage, art deco styling which is breathtaking. My Dualitas wish list is a mile long!

Son Jung Wan spring 2016 New York Fashion Week

Son Jung Wan is always one of my favorite shows during New York Fashion Week. The collection is luxurious, classic, and always ahead of the trends. So I was thrilled to attend Son Jung Wan’s spring/summer 2016 show during New York Fashion Week in September; and be able to share it with you!

The collection was filled with shimmering fabrics, feminine lines, and metallics. I loved the silhouettes, and the blue fabrications!

Son Jung Wan’s spring 2016 collection evoked a playful vibe which was laced in luxury, and a carefree outlook. Loved!
